bar in downtown Reykjavik, located at Bergstaðarstræti 1, is famous
for its central role in the film 101 Reykjavík and for being Blur's
Damon Albarn's favourite kicking back spot in the good old days. You
can come across all kinds of arty and hip bargoers, all ready to
share a beer in the friendly atmosphere that the joint gives off.
Electro-house indie music can be enjoyed almost every night, with
live performances by famed Djs rocking the socks off the audience in
a festive, yet cozy ambience.
The place is divided into three
sections: a dancing area and a bar on the ground floor and a sitting
lounge on the second floor for those who just want to grab a chilled
drink and blabber away the night. From Sunday to Wednesday, the place
is more of a quiet and mellow café, with things going through the
roof from Thursday to Saturday.
